A New Person

Today is a new beginning for a new YOU.

Yesterday is over and done with.

Your concern is your--

today and tomorrow.

Your tomorrow is spotless,

open to anything.

What you do today will determine

your tomorrow.

If you don’t make any change today,

your tomorrow will be exactly like today.

Each day you don’t act on your dream,

your days will get darker and darker

as you grow.

But each time you add something new

to better yourself,

your tomorrow gets brighter and brighter each day.

Then one day-- in your tomorrow—

You shine like a STAR.

 

You are a STAR.

How you shine is all up to you.

You are the star of your own show, your life story.  Imagine yourself to be the writer, the performer, the director and the producer of your movie. 

You have control over all aspects of the story. 

Create a world just as you dreamed it would be. 

What kind of movie are you making?

What role are you playing?

How are you going to portray your role?

What's your life going to be?

Do you know where you're going?

Do you have a vision of what you want to do with your life?

Is it full of meaning?

Is it inspiring, full of action, fun and laughter?

How would you like your movie to end?

Will it draw moviegoers to watch the full show?

Is it the kind of movie that people will want to watch over and over because it touched their hearts?

Would you watch your own movie and find yourself saying at the end of the show "hmmm, I like it.  I gave it my best.  It's a good movie."

 

So now, say to yourself....

"Today I will make better choices than the choices I made in the past.  I will be mindful in understanding the role I play everyday.  And I will see great results in my life because I know God has a perfect plan and purpose for me."
